It's that time of year again, when glitz and glamour fill the air, gladrags are dorned and the season's gongs awarded....amid houls of derision and claims of institutional bias. No, not the Oscars this time, but the Leith Rugby Club Awards Night, and the question begged again this year......when will Willie Cook finally catch a break?

Yes, the night of the year at the club is nearly upon us, when the who's who (and the who's that?) of rugby in Leith throw on their dinner (buffet) wear and celebrate the achievements of the season.

Tickets are priced at £15, but a special discounted rate of £10 is available if purchased by Saturday March 26 (the club's Race Night). Tickets are available from Craig Winton, Robert Stitt and Kenny Dannfald, or by emailing Leith Rugby.

After Craig Smith broke the forwards Player of the Year award monopoly last year, will one of the donkeys regain the prize?
