Leith Academy Girls U-15s Fall Just Short of Schools Shield Final

Incredible progress in just a few months

Leith Academy's U-15 Girls side fell at the penultimate hurdle in the Scottish Schools Shield semi-final last Wednesday, going down to Lismore/Liberton, who are to be congratulated on making a second consecutive final. The team was:

The result doesn't tell the full story of a side who came to be only 7 months ago, and whose progress in that time has been astonishing, and of which the school are rightly very proud. In October the team hosted and won the Shield trophy at their U15s Touch Tournament to further underline their progression in 2016.

All at Leith Rugby congratulate the girls on their successes to-date, and wish them all the best for the rest of the school year and going forward.
