Leith Sevens Competition Information

Get yourself along to the Leith Sevens tournament this Saturday, where you'll be in for another fast, free flowing day of rugby on a sunny (hopefully!) Spring day. A youth rugby demo and tour game vs tourists from London, Merton RFC, will kick off the day at 12pm, followed by the Sevens Tournament - first tie 12:36pm - where 12 teams will compete for the Carl Waugh Trophy, as well as Plate, Bowl and Shield trophies.

The tournament is more than just a local squabble, and will feature sides from across all 3 Scottish Rugby regions. There will be a DJ, a cracking beer tent, local partners Campervan Brewery as well as a BBQ in aid of our youth development section – The Leith Hawks. And best of all – its free!

Watching the 1872 Cup? The 22 bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the club, and will take you directly to Murrayfield in 35 minutes. Or stay and watch it on the big screen! We can't guarantee you that seat you'll get at the national stadium though... :)
