Imagine living in a country where it never got dark at 4pm.....or just where, for a few months (just long enough to squeeze in a rugby season), it was light enough to play rugby in the evenings. You know, the summer - when players enjoy training more, and the rugby is (generally) more expansive and enjoyable to play/watch.... Imagine playing on a midweek evening so you've still got your whole weekend to get dragged around IKEA by the Mrs.....oh wait, OK...keep it on Saturdays...
Despite the fear of Swedish hypermarkets, tonight sees Leith and our visitors Forrester, lock horns in a midweek pre-season game, and it will be an opportunity for both sides to work on different combinations, with both in action again on Saturday. The sides know each other well from a couple of season's of league action, but with "the green machine" having gone up last year (as People's Champions) this will likely be our only clash in 2015/16.
A warm welcome to the the Corstorphine outfit at Academy Park tonight, for a 7pm KO.
