Leith 2s 37 - 0 Caledonian Thebans

The 2nd XV recorded their first 'physical' win of the season at the weekend, with a 37-0 win over Caley Thebans at Academy Park. The win attributed to the team for the cancellation by Barnton of the game scheduled for September 16th, brings their record to 2-2, when added to losses to Ross High 2s and Walkerburn.

Scores for George Lees (2), man of the match Marcos Teixeira (2), Matt Rea, Sam Davies and a first for the club for Donald Wright saw the Leithers home in an entertaining game with the Thebans, and provides plenty of momentum going into next weekend's visit to Dalkeith 2s, as well as plenty competition for 1st XV jerseys in the weeks to come.
