The 2nd XV take on Moray House/Watsonians 4s on Saturday at Peffermill. With the inclement weather, a doubleheader was not possible on the Academy Park pitch, and with Myreside unavailable due to Edinburgh Rugby commitments, the University of Edinburgh's playing fields will be the venue instead. With the 1st XV having won their last weekend against RDVC, hopefully it's a good omen for the 2s! Following a couple of injuries last weekend, changes to the lineup are likely, but it's a sign of the strength of the participation numbers at Leith, that despite missing several regulars, the 2s are still on track to fulfil as ever.

Meanwhile the 1st XV will be in action at home to Dalkeith, also in a 2pm KO. Both sides have identical 3 wins, 6 losses records in East 2 to-date, and both will be looking to improve to winning records by the turn of the year and the "split". Dalkeith come in to the game on a run of 3 losses, and will be targeting the trip to Leith as a chance to stop that run, as Leith were last week in snapping their own 3-game losing streak at RDVC. A good game should be the result, with both sides chasing the win. Make sure you get down to the sideline to cheer on the Leithers, your support goes a long way in getting the boys over the line.
