Having downed Edinburgh Northern in the first round, Leith take on Dunbar RFC of East 1 in this weekend's BT Edinburgh Shield Quarter Finals, our hosts having received a bye into the last 8. The 2 sides met in pre-season in a game in which Leith felt they missed some chances to ensure a closer result than the eventual 63-7 finish in favour of the East Lothian outfit. The Leithers will be seeking to give a better account of themselves this weekend.

Both sides enter the fixture hoping the cup can help arrest losing runs in the league, Leith having lost the last 3 and Dunbar the last 6, their having started the season with 4 straight wins.

As ever the travelling Leith support is hugely appreciated, and we hope to see many of you on the touchline at Dunbar's Halhill Sports Centre.

The 2s will be hosting Swiss tourists, Ovaile Chablaisienne Monthey Rugby, in town for the Scotland v Argentina fixture at Murrayfield. If you're not along at Dunbar, please help welcome our visitors in the 12pm KO at Academy Park, after which the clubhouse will be open for the Autumn Tests (Wales v Japan 1430, Scotland v Argentina 1700).
