Students overpowered at Leith

After a close start to the game, Leith won this encounter fairly easily. After an early exchange of tries, Leith settled into the game with another score. Two penalties let Dick vet into the game, but after half time it was largely one way traffic.

Two tries from Gerard got him MOTM although his performance in the pint challenge was lamentable.

Tam Bennett turned back the years with a storming try which Rory should have finished off in the corner, but no harm done as Tam went in under the posts for an easy conversion to follow. Gareth got the other try.

Highlight for me was Aitchy putting their loose head up in the air in a scrum.

Lowlight was the impression that we were playing for the Barbarians with the ball getting thrown everywhere - mostly not to hand. If we'd kept it tight instead of the Harum scarum stuff, we could've racked up a big score. Still it was a bonus point win so musn't grumble!
