Leith travel to Dalkeith on Saturday for the resumption of league business following the winter break, in a fixture rescheduled following postponement in November. Dalkeith currently sit 2nd in the East 2 table, and will be looking to keep the pressure on leaders, Broughton, in what will be their first league outing since a 21-20 home defeat to Edinburgh Northern on December 10th, although they did also go down to Linlithgow in the cup the following weekend. Leith will look to take the form shown in their 2 wins over Earlston and Gala YM pre-Christmas in to the 1st game of 2017. The two sides have not met since Dalkeith's East 2 Championship-winning season back in 2013-14.
