Leith go second in the table
On a day when few games were played due to the weather, Leith were able to take advantage in a hard fought encounter to go second in the league
After dominating the first half, all Leith had to show for their efforts was a converted Gareth try, which was looking like scant reward indeed.
Aitchy managed to settle the nerves with a thirty five yard run and crash over for a try (actually about 5 yards) just before half time.
Second half went the same way with Leith dominating territory and possesion, RDVC scored a breakaway try, but never really threatened apart from that.
A Burgess penalty put the result beyond doubt.
Summary
A win we fought hard for and a game wecould have lost last year.
