Enter Marwick and Baxter, two men fleet of foot
MARWICK: I’ll score the first two and you score the third?
BAXTER: Good plan, score three within 17 minutes and we can pull clear for top try scorer this year
Enter Wilkinson, a cannon
WILKINSON: I will kick all the conversions. No matter where they lie.
Act 2 A risposte from invited guests
Enter Inverleith Rugby club and Paterson, Allan and Connelly, three defensive generals
INVERLEITH: This is our chance, to avenge and start our season, we will spend 20 minutes assailing your line and bombard you with waves of runners.
PATERSON: You will, will ye?
CONNELLY: No one shall breach us for those 20 minutes
ALLAN:...and for good measure, we will pilfer any ball you do have and counter attack back at you.
Act 3 Coast to coast and end to end
Enter Weir and Watters, a silken handed purveyor of assists
WATTERS: Does anyone need an assist or three?
WEIR: Yes, as long as they require me to run the length of the field on several occasions to ensure that I end up with 4 tries and limit messrs Baxter and Marwick to 3 tries each by the end of the game.
Enter Wilkinson
WILKINSON: And I will continue to metronomically kick all goals.
